Fees, Registration, Cancellation and Costume
Tuition Fees
Tuition at County School of Dance is based on the number of hours per week your child participates.
The more hours they take the less expensive per hour. Once a child is taking more than 6 hours per week they are permitted to take unlimited additional classes free of charge.
Fees are based on a minimum of 28 classes per year, spread unevenly ( due to holidays and
performances etc.) from September to June. Payments can be made in full in September, semi annually or monthly by postdated cheque.
Scholarships are available.
Registration
opens May 1st each year for the following September and can be done at the studio or
by phone 613 -476-3256 or email countyschoolofdance@gmail.com.
Family discounts are achieved by combining the hours taken by your children, to a maximum
of 6 hours total, for a larger savings. Register before our annual spring showcase in early June and you lock in this year's price and avoid any annual increase.
All fees include HST and there is NO registration fee.
Should your child miss a class, tuition is not refundable.
If the studio must cancel a scheduled class due to weather or illness etc. we issue each family a 'snow cheque' good for the value of the missed class. These refund cheques may only be applied towards tuition costs. Terms and conditions are listed on the cheque.
Cancellation Policy
September's payment is considered a deposit and is non-refundable. Should your child have to withdraw any time after, we are happy to return your postdated cheques but you must provide 30 days written notice of your departure. All tuition after that 30 day period is refundable. All costumes have to be returned in good order.
Costume
Striving to keep all expenses as low as possible, County School of Dance rents costumes to the students each year for the Nutcracker and our year end showcase. Competitive students rent approximately 80% of their costumes as well.
